General Q & A's

Q: Where do you deliver?

A: Delivery to postcodes within a 15km radius of Newcastle CBD is FREE. For surrounding areas (within 50km) please use the postage calculator at the shopping cart for delivery fees. Please contact us if you are requiring a special order for outside of these areas and we will do our best to accommodate. Fees will apply.

Q: What days & times do you deliver?

A: Thursday, Friday and Saturday are our delivery days. We deliver arrangements to places of business and commercial addresses between 8.00am and 5.00pm. The residential deliveries will be made between 8.00am and 6.00pm. We will send a message to your mobile number to inform you when the delivery is complete.

Q: Do you deliver to Secure Apartments?

A: Yes, we certainly can! You will need to ensure that the recipient is home at the time of delivery. If they are not then we can re-deliver their flower box the following day and you will be charged a $10.00 re-delivery fee.  Please make sure you have noted down the recipients contact number when your order is placed.

Q: What is your order lead time?

A: Next day delivery is available if you order before 12pm. We cannot guarantee a specified time of delivery because your special arrangement is made with love on the day of delivery. However, we aim to do our best to accommodate all orders, should you require a delivery sooner than this please contact us ASAP – or via the Say Hi page.

Q: What happens if my recipient is not home?

A: If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery our drivers will contact you. If you cannot be reached and if it is appropriate to do so, our driver will leave the box in a safe place at their property. If there isn’t a safe place to leave the arrangement we can re-deliver your flower box the following day for a $10.00 re-delivery fee.  If you have specific delivery requirements please ensure you include these in the ordering notes box.  Please do not request a specified time of delivery as this is not available.

Q: What is your return & refund policy?

A: Once we have begun processing your order it cannot be cancelled. In order to promptly deliver our arrangements as fresh as possible, the processing of an order commences almost immediately once you have submitted your order.  However, should you wish to alter your order, please contact us ASAP, if the construction of your order has not commenced we may be able to accommodate your request and we will do our best to meet your needs. Q: Can I place an order whilst Overseas?

A: Yes you sure can! We accept orders from overseas, please progress through checkout as normal.

Q: What is the cost to personalise my Grand flower box?

A: Free.

Q: Can I buy the add ons without the flowers?

A: Our add-on products are intended to be received alongside beautiful blooms, so we are unable to offer them on their own at this stage.

Q: Am I able to have my OSP Mini box personalised?

A: Unfortunately no. The adorable simplicity of the mini is what makes it stand out from other current arrangements currently on the market.  If you are looking to have that special personalised touch we offer box message personalisation for our OSP Grand flower box.

Q: What if a particular rose colour or flower type isn’t available for selection?

A: We like to be flexible at Oh So Pretty so please contact us via our contact page or at  and we will try our very best to create the perfect arrangment for you.

Q: How to care for my Mini & Grand box of roses?

A: The roses we use at Oh So Pretty are carefully hand selected and cared for to ensure a high quality is always maintained. Our premium roses have been pre cut and conditioned prior to delivery. To ensure longevity of your blooms, place them out of direct sunlight and keep them hydrated by adding a teacup of water (filtered preferred) every 3 days. This can be done by gently spreading the flowers and pouring the water in the centre of the arrangement.  You can also peel away the outer petals as they naturally wilt to keep your blooms looking fresh. If you wish to keep your box as a keepsake remove your flowers after 7 days.

Q: How do I care for my bouquet of blooms?

A: To extend the life of your bouquet, snip your flowers on an angle to your desired length. Place them out of direct sunlight in a vase of fresh water. Replace this water every couple of days to ensure they are always drinking clean water.  You can also peel away the outer petals of your roses as they naturally wilt to extend the life of your arrangement. Depending on how you like your wildflowers (‘River’ blooms) – Follow the above rose care instructions or alternatively, if you are wanting to savour them forever, they are still incredibly beautiful when they are all dried out.

Q: Will my blooms look exactly as pictured? 

A: Depending on the season and picking, our roses may vary and colour but the quality does not. Our rose sizes will also vary so will the amount of roses in your box, each box will have a minimum of 20 roses and sometimes up to 35 (please note this does not apply to our limited edition ranges). Each month we will slightly mix up the florals in our River Wildflower arrangement depending on what is in season. 

This adds to the fact that every arrangement is unique and special in their own way.

Q. How much is gift box delivery?

A. We have a flat rate of $9.95 for standard shipping across Australia.

Q. When will my gift box be dispatched?

A. Gift box dispatch days are Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Please allow 24 hours for dispatch once your order has been placed.

Q. How long will delivery take?

A. For standard shipping Australia Post allows 2-7 business days.

Q. Do you provide delivery tracking?

A. Yes we do, you will receive a confirmation email from us with your tracking details, copy and paste your tracking details into the couriers tracking section of the Australia Post website and watch your parcels journey.

Q. Is my gift box exactly as shown in the picture

A. The items shown in your box will be exactly the same as the picture. Placement will vary as the boxes will be closed and shipped.
